The Supporters’ Club was last night given a unanimous mandate by our members to send an open letter (see pdf window below if viewing on a PC, or use the download option if viewing on a mobile) to Chelmsford City FC owner John Holmes and chairman Steve Shore.
We appreciate that some supporters may find it a hard decision to delay the purchase of their season tickets – especially given that the ‘early bird’ deadline is 2nd July – but the committee believes that the current situation at the club merits such action.
We also welcome dialogue with any supporter who opposes our stance but, with the very future of our club at stake, we hope you understand why we have made this difficult decision.
We would like to reiterate that our vote of no confidence in the ownership of the club does not extend to Mr Dan Watkins.
