It is with huge sadness that we have to confirm that friend of many Clarets fans and everyone’s favourite Dulwich Hamlet fan, Steve Connolly, passed away last weekend. He fought valiantly against a short illness over a lengthy stay in hospital but, alas, he succumbed surrounded by his loving family on Saturday.
Steve was not only a great friend, but was the minibus driver for our 2023 charity walk; we have great memories of the time we spent with him, and we’re sure that this year’s walkers will find a suitable way to honour him and pay our respects.
Our love and sincere condolences go to his dear wife Jean, daughter Cheryl and family – RIP Steve, always in our thoughts.
