The Chelmsford City Supporters’ Club are delighted to announce Away Travel Club details for our away games against Weymouth, Yeovil Town and Torquay United!
As confirmed in our away travel announcement, coaches to these games will only run with at least 20 passengers booked on to travel. The £5 fare reduction for over 30 passengers travelling will apply for all three of these games.
As a result of Gavin Smith’s sponsorship and the Wyddfa Wander walkers, the Supporters’ Club are able to offer competitive prices of £45 (adults) and £30 (under-18) for the trips to Weymouth and Yeovil Town and a fare of £50 and £30 respectively for our visit to Plainmoor to take on Torquay United. Comparatively, GroupSave tickets from Chelmsford for our trips out west on the trains are all over £50, with both trips to Yeovil and Torquay clocking in at over £60. At a time when industrial action is still affecting rail travel across the country, there has never been a better time to travel with us on the coach!
Roman Coaches will be providing the coach for all three of our trips to the West Country in August and September.
Finally, an incredibly generous anonymous City supporter has offered to knock £5 off the fares for anybody for Torquay away if they took the coach to Weymouth and Yeovil!
As usual, our coaches will depart from the car park at Melbourne Stadium and the County Hotel on matchdays. As a reminder, it’s cash on the day for payment.
