With the beginning of UEFA Euro 2024 less than a week away, the Chelmsford City Supporters’ Club are pleased to announce a sweepstake and predictions league for this year’s tournament!
Entries for the sweepstake will be available at £10 per team, to purchase from the Supporters’ Club online shop. The prizes will be as follows:
£80 for winner
£30 for runner up
£10 for wooden spoon (least points and worst goal difference)
The remaining £120 raised will be received by the Supporters’ Club.
Entries will be available to purchase HERE from the Supporters’ Club shop, with the draw to be made when all 24 teams are purchased!
We will also be running a predictions competition concurrently for £5, available for purchase HERE.
Those entering the predictions league will have the opportunity to submit their predictions via the Soapbox or via email (chelmsfordcitysupportersclub@hotmail.co.uk) for the following categories:
Individual England and Scotland games
Top scorer with amount of goals predicted
England and Scotland’s top scorer with amount of goals predicted
Result of final with teams (e.g. England 2-0 Spain or Italy 1-3 Germany)
Our scoring system for our predictions league will be three points for the correct scoreline and one point if you predict the correct result and three points for guessing the correct goalscorer with the amount of goals they’ll score and one point if your correct goalscorer prediction is correct.
The prize fund for the predictions league will be 50% of the entry fees split 70:30 in favour of the winner and runner up, with a guaranteed minimum prize of £25 and £10!
